Quick Release Full Fenders for the Swift Folder

I recently purchased some Planet Bike full fenders from Xootr.com that were custom made for the Swift Folder.  They were purchased in advance for the Seattle trip. Fortunately, there was no need to install them because of the lack of rain. They took very little space in the suitcase and no doubt could provide superior protection from wet roads.

The only thing I didn’t like about them was that that the seatpost would hit right up against with the rear fender during a full fold. I may keep the front fender, do without the rear fender and instead use an SKS seat post rear fender as shown below. (Sorry I forgot the link,  I’ll give credit to the website that originally posted the photos went I find it)

I also came across Alex Wetmore’s website on the Swift Folder. He has a really clever way of making the fenders quick to install and remove without hand tools.
