Quickbeam build, pt 2

Most of the major parts for the Rivendell Quickbeam were acquired to make the bike ridable.  I took it out for a 20 mile test ride and that experience was eye opener.   I felt it was the fastest yet most comfortable ride I have experienced on bike.   The moustache handlebars are comfortable and allow for loads of leverage when mashing the pedals to accelerate.  No back or neck  soreness at all.   The tires are really like flying on a speedy cloud with no noticeable feeling of rolling restance compared to my 25mm slicks.   Road harshness disappeared.   My assumptions were correct about the s3x hub,  its direct connected drive at 3rd felt like I was getting more power out per pedal stroke. It was a great first impression, so far.
