Campagnolo 6 speed to 5 speed Conversion

It seems odd to convert from a 6 speed to a 5 speed, but it is necessary when you have a 126mm wide hub and the rear frame has a spacing of 120mm and don’t want to re-align the rear of your frame.  The conversion involves removing 5.5 mm from the cone spacer and 5.5 mm from the axle.  This was the first time I used a lathe, so I was a little nervous working on the Super Record hub.  Fortunately, it worked out ok.  All that was left was to screw on the 5 speed Suntour hub and mount it to the frame.
