Drill Press Refurbished

I fixed up the old Rockwell-Delta drill press.  It is about a 1940’s model with the dp-220 casting.  All parts were dumped into the electrolysis tank.  After that, it really only needed a new belt, paint, grease and cleaning.  The only extra parts I needed was to by an original motor pulley and a new Jacobs 6A chuck.  All the rust was removed from the smaller parts using a wire brush.  The paint was my favorite – Rustoleum hammerite.  It fills in all of the groves and requires no primer.
