Northern Brewer “Innkeeper”
Cooler weather (less than 85F) is allowing me to tolerate brewing outside again. I am brewing the “Innkeeper”, a Northern Brewer all grain kit in the style of an English bitter. It is a short fermentation (only 2 weeks) with no transfer to secondary. I noticed that the beer was still cloudy, so I added unflavored gelatin as a fining agent. It clear it up nicely the next day. It also allowed for me to correct the SG, which was 1.050 to a calculated 1.043.
