Norther brewer speckled heffer

With some time in between travel, I started work on my third brew, the “speckled heffer”. It is a clone of a brew I enjoyed out in Wisconsin, the New Glaurus “spotted cow”.

It a no nonsense straight up normal beer. This was another all grain kit. I did batch sparging this time and got the specific gravity spot on at 1.040. I also used a yeast nutrient and bubbled some pure oxygen from the welding tank after the boil. Yeast was bubbling like crazy the next morning, so it worked well.
